Yarram Water Tower Art - Victoria

The Yarram Water Tower was painted by Heesco Khosnaran in April 2023

This is the 25th and the biggest official mural in the town of Yarram and has concluded the Heesco Town Project which started three years ago back in 2021.

For the top part of the tower, Wayne Tindal (who designed most of the current Heesco Town murals) worked closely with Eric Greenaway and others to identify the key local tourism hotspots that could be featured throughout the town.

The lower part of the tower design is a colourful and meaningful image filled with rich imagery and embedded stories and symbols.

'GUNAIKURANI' Elder Sandra Patten designed this part of the tower and sees it as a visual expression of 'Sitting On Country' where she feels at home and connected.
