In May 2018, under the Works for Queensland program, the water tower in Moura was embellished with a captivating mural by Brisbane artist Sam Wilkinson, also known as LEANS.
The artwork features a remarkable Pink Galah alongside a cotton plant, symbolising the local farming industry. In June 2019, the opposite side of the Moura water tower underwent
its artistic transformation by The Zookeeper. His contribution portrays the picturesque Dawson River, situated nearby, capturing the essence of the town’s natural beauty.
While exploring the town, make sure to visit the dog mural painted by The Zookeeper, located on the café wall on the main street, adding to the vibrant street art scene.
