The Mount Isa water tank received a makeover in late September 2019, thanks to the artistic talents of David W Houghton, Mr Mupz,
Ryan Sullivan, and RC Collective.
To reach the lookout, you’ll encounter a steep road that requires caution. It’s important to
note that the road is not suitable for caravans or vehicles towing trailers. In the event that the top of the lookout is congested, you
may need to reverse your way back
down.
The artwork adorning the water tank showcases local fish species, such as Bream and Barra, which can be found in Lake Moondarra. Additionally, the mural includes
captivating images of scenery
from the nearby ranges.
