The Mickleham Water Tank Art stands as a testament to the creative brilliance of artist Christian Vine. Renowned for his distinctive
and lively graphic designs, Vine drew inspiration from two of Hume’s cherished conservation sites – the Mt Ridley Conservation Reserve
and the historically significant Woodlands Historic Park.
Vine’s artistic prowess takes center stage in this captivating creation, offering a surreal and imaginative portrayal of the natural wonders
that grace Hume’s open grasslands and riparian grasslands bioregions.
The two tanks are vibrant canvases adorned with vivid renderings of river red gums, kangaroo grass, and the intricate network of waterways that define these ecologically rich landscapes.
