The exact completion date for the Lower Macdonald water tanks remains to be determined; however, we can confirm that the
water tanks were completed before 2022.
There are two tanks to be found at this location, nestled a short walk off the road and atop a small hill. Featured on the large tank
are a pair of Sulphur-crested Cockatoos. The more minor tank features native flora, including the Australian native Bottle Brush
(Callistemon).
The Callistemon species have commonly been referred to as bottlebrushes because of their cylindrical, brush-like flowers resembling a traditional bottle brush.
