The Viterra Silos in Kimba, skilfully adorned by Cam Scale, was finished in September 2017. This striking mural spans over five and a half silos, boasting dimensions of over 60 meters wide and 25 meters high. It depicts a captivating scene of a young girl amidst a wheat field at sunset, brought to life with stunning colours that appear to shift and evolve with the changing light from

dawn until dusk. The artist dedicated 26 days to meticulously crafting this masterpiece, utilising an impressive 200 litres of paint in the process. Visitors can enjoy a designated viewing area specifically arranged for this fully operational silo complex, conveniently locate with easy roadside parking access.

Kimba holds another point of pride as it is positioned ‘halfway across Australia’, a fact commemorated by a sign welcoming visitors as they enter the town from the east. Additionally, Kimba is home to the renowned ‘Big Galah’, situated just a short distance from the Kimba sign and adjacent to one of the local cafés,adding to the town’s charm and appeal.
