Kempsey’s Rudder Park has become home to a powerful symbol of hope, remembrance, and community support. The

stunning Blue Tree mural found at the park was unveiled on the 10th of September 2023, aligning with World Suicide Prevention Day.

This meaningful project, painted by Iknograffix in August 2023, was initiated by Baylin’s Gift and supported by Kempsey Community Suicide Prevention (KCSP) and Kempsey Shire Council.

The mural, painted on both sides, was designed to be interactive, allowing the community to contribute their own messages of hope and remembrance. Sunday, the 10th of September, is World Suicide Prevention Day.
