The Hinton Water Tank Art was painted by Jenny McCracken of Zest Events International in mid- 2022 and is situated tucked away on the Hinton Oval.

Featured front and centre on the tank is the Australian Royal Spoonbill, also known as the Blackbilled Spoonbill. It can be found in intertidal flats and shallows of freshwater and saltwater wetlands in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.

The bird is known for its long spoon-shaped bill, black facial skin, and black legs. Breeding adults develop long white plumes on the back of the head, and they often feed in shallow wetlands, either singly or in small flocks.
