The Viterra Silos in Farrell Flat were painted by artists Jarrod Soden and Matthew Knights of Perplswet Designs.

The work took place over a period of two weeks in November 2020, when they dedicated approximately 140 hours to the project. The impressive artwork spans a height of 30 meters and covers a vast area of 900 square meters. To

bring their vision to life, they utilised more than 150 litres of paint.

The artwork on the silos pays homage to the rich history of Farrell Flat, featuring a captivating depiction of the town’s final train passing through against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset and a golden wheat field. As you explore the

artwork, be sure to keep an eye out for a hidden surprise—a cleverly concealed elephant. To spot this delightful addition, you will need to approach the artwork closely and immerse yourself in its intricate details.
