The Australian Mungbean Company has recently revealed a stunning art installation on the Burnett Highway. Four silos have been transformed into captivating works of art by renowned artists Drapl and The Zookeeper. This installation celebrates the region, the mungbean industry, its growers, and their loyal four-legged companions.

One silo prominently features a cockatoo, symbolising the local area’s connection and derived from an Aboriginal word. Positioned on

an aged hardwood fence, it adds rustic charm and cultural significance.

The other silos depict the flourishing mungbean plants in the fields around Biloela. These beautifully painted silos represent the industry’s vitality and importance to the community, honouring the hard work of the dedicated

growers.

The collaboration between Drapl and The Zookeeper has resulted in an exceptional art installation that celebrates the natural beauty,

cultural heritage, and agricultural significance of Biloela. The artwork seen from the Burnett Highway captures attention and showcases the artists’ talent and creativity.
