Beechford Water Tank Art - Tasmania

The Beechford Water Tank was commissioned by the Beechford Residents and the Property Owners Association. 

The Beechford Water Tank Art project was commissioned by the Beechford Residents and Property Owners Association. Situated within the George Town local government area in the Launceston region of Tasmania, Beechford is a rural locality located approximately 22 kilometres northeast of the town of George Town.

Access to the beach is facilitated through various means, including a small sand track near the now-defunct football oval or by crossing a footbridge over a tidal estuary.

The coastline boasts a pristine white sandy beach, offering ample opportunities for leisure activities such as walking, mountain biking, snorkelling, kite surfing, swimming, and fishing.
