The Albany Water Tank is a local landmark and now a tourist attraction and was inspired by the the popular silo art trail movement that can be found all around Australia.
The 64 panel indigenous artwork covers the two massive water tanks and the artwork was inspired by the regions diverse sea life and a deep connection to the original owners of the land.
The new Albany Bunnings store that was built in 2020 and is the first of its kind to have murals painted on their now standard protective fire fighting water tanks.
The oceans surrounding Albany hold many significant treasure's including a selection of these sea creatures that can be found within the mural.
