West Moonah Water Tank Art - Tasmania

The following is a list of the artists who contributed to the design of this water tank was completed in April 2020, with a comic book theme.

The artists are Trent Fischer (Odie) for Batman and Joker, Todd Jacobson for the School Classroom, Harrison Bowe for Mt Wellington/Kunyani, Alice Cooley for the girls and Prickly Spirits, Topsk for the Wizard Hat, and Deamz for The Happy Rat.

According to the project manager, the aim of the project was not only to make the water tank visually appealing but also to prevent

unwanted graffiti. TasWater’s reservoirs have reportedly been a target for graffiti, and the hope is that by inviting street artists to

work on this project, it will be less likely for random tagging to occur.
