The McLaren Street Water Tower Art was painted by The Zookeeper and Drapl in late June 2021.

This mural depicts the new Recreational Lake Precinct at sunset. The lake spans approximately 59 acres, stretching 900m in length and reaching up to 400m at its widest point, equivalent to the size of 35 football fields. Additionally, it features a scenic track suitable for walking and biking, and for those inclined towards fishing, the lake is stocked with fish.

Hughenden traces back to 1863 when its founder, Earnest Henry stumbled upon the area and decided to establish a camp. He named the settlement Hughenden Station, inspired by the Tudor Manor house owned by his grandfather in Buckinghamshire, England.
